This website is provided by Cape Build Home Improvement Inc. for your informational use. You may view, print and share the content for your own residential or business purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, a binding quote, or a commitment to perform work. Estimates submitted through this site are free and non-binding. A project is only engaged when both parties have signed a written agreement or accepted a written proposal that clearly states the scope, price and terms.

Estimates and Pricing

Written estimates are based on the information available and the conditions observed at the time of the site visit. If material conditions are found after work begins that could not reasonably have been identified during the visit — concealed structural deterioration, code corrections, hazardous material handling or the need for additional repairs — we will stop, document the condition, and provide a written change order for your approval before proceeding. No additional work will be performed without your authorization.

Project Agreements

Every project is governed by a written agreement that specifies the scope of work, materials, schedule, payment schedule, and any permit responsibilities. Payment terms, deposit requirements, and change order procedures are set out in that agreement. We may adjust the schedule for weather, material availability, subcontractor availability, or your own changes to the scope, and we will communicate any such adjustment as early as possible.

Permits and Code Compliance

Where permits or regulatory approvals are required, obtaining them is part of the agreed scope unless the agreement states otherwise. Permits and inspections must be completed as required by the authority having jurisdiction. Changes mandated by building officials, fire marshals or conservation commissions are treated as a change order and priced accordingly.

Warranty

We warrant our workmanship against defects in installation for the period stated in your signed agreement, and pass through any manufacturer warranties on materials. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, third-party work, ordinary wear, acts of nature, or conditions we specifically advised you about in writing. Manufacturer warranties are honored as provided by their respective manufacturers and remain the primary remedy for material defects.

Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cape Build Home Improvement Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from any work performed, including delay, loss of use, or loss of profit. Our total liability for any claim relating to work performed on your property is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work in question.

Confidentiality and Ownership

All content on this website, including text, layout, graphics, and code, remains the property of Cape Build Home Improvement Inc. and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission. Photographs of completed work remain our property and may be used in our own marketing with your consent, unless you request otherwise in writing before publication.

Third-Party Links

This website may reference or link to third-party sites, including image and font providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites, and inclusion of a link is not an endorsement.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page governs your use of the website from the date it is posted. Terms agreed to in a signed project agreement are governed by that agreement instead.
